¡LatinFest! 2022
A little over a week ago, Mississippi celebrated the biggest Latin fiesta of the year. LABA-Link would like to thank everyone who made ¡Latinfest! 2022 a tremendous hit! Christmas Toy Drive
LABA-Link hosted their first-ever Christmas Toy Drive from November 12 through December 10. The members of LABA's board, as well as volunteers, handed out the donations at La Carnicería Valdez in Canton, Mississippi (1203 W. Peace St., Canton, Ms 39046) on the afternoon of December 12.
Vaccination Drive
On May 15, 2021, LABA-Link was proud to have volunteered alongside MIRA (Mississippi Immigrants Rights Alliance) to vaccinate the underserved Latin-American population living in or around Jackson, MS. The vaccination drive took place at the parking lot of Carnicería Valdez in Ridgeland.
